Late night explorations- finished!

Long overdue! I've finally managed to finish of my experiment with the Japanese crochet charts!

Definitely not one of my favourite pieces, but a very dear one mainly because i actually managed to pull through the whole pattern and learnt how to read the crochet chart as well.

would you look at the trees! ' maaaooow'

I've already started a ginger version  of the cat using the same 2.5mm hook which i used for this one. And in other news, i found and ordered 'Ami Ami Dogs- seriously cute crochet by Mitsuki Hoshi'. i know there are a gazillion pages which are offering the PDF as a free download but at the end of the day, i just wanted to give back to this craft which has had me enamored for so very long! And honestly, i'm a sucker for books and i might just have a problem as far as accumulating books are concerned ;)

Thanks for reading!

Summit 27

Today's attempted summit took a while because of how busy the weekend got!

One of the more 'peaceful' summits, outcome being very serene and sorted. Graph editor wise it was a boon! I cannot stress how terrible i was at graph editor, even looking at it gave me the shivers but this summit was right in my face like -BAM- there's a whole new world out there and you just need that damned graph editor.

Either way, here's my output!

late night explorations

The first time i saw Japanese 'Amigurumi' i was amazed with the sort of intricate patterns that the artists followed! It was beyond my understanding at that time and i couldn't understand how anyone could read such charts.

So today(night rather) i finally attempted to understand how exactly one can read these patterns and i must confess that i was successfully able to translate as well as crochet the pattern!

noting down the pattern in simple form!
Aren't they precious!

The ever so intimidating chart! Many thanks to 'TODOAMIGURUMI' for the pattern resources
Find the whole book here!

More updates later as i translate the rest of the pattern. For translating purposes i followed a very simple guide posted by
'aspettame' on  'we love amigurumi'

looking forward to finish my first authentic Japanese pattern!

Summit 57

I think these sort of updates will be a regular until i'm through with most of the Mt. Mograph tutorials.
Again, this one was a sweet and easy one and extremely fun to work with (the challenging videos are DEFINITELY more fun, no doubt about that)

So here are my outcome GIFs.

Summit 49

A quick one by Mt. Mograph! Loved the simplicity of this one and it's extremely satisfying as well as easy!

Summit 7

Summit 7, because it simply is a wonderful feeling to be able to do 'cool' stuff!
Once again, all credit to Mt. Mograph. I'm starting to be able to multi task as i just listen to the voice while making the actions on After Effects. Though i do go back ever so often to re-check on what he's doing in the video.

Summit 7 was particularly fun since it was open ended and it sort of forced me to explore on my part.

here's my version!

Summit 6

Perhaps i should title this as Summit 2 or 1.2, Mt. Mograph's video title itself compels me to make it summit six.

I've really been enjoying working on After Effects with his tutorials and i plan to do as many AE ones as possible! And perhaps move on to do some of the CInema 4D ones as well!

Here's a final of what i was able to manage while following summit 6
